Here is a Lesson Plan for teaching Nature Merit Badge. These are two of more than 50 lesson plans that Camp Thunder, in the Flint River Council of Georgia is developing for all of its badge offerings.
By custom designing a schedule for each week of camp and mailing it out 10 days before arrival a troop will have much more accurate information. The leader's guide mentions activities and events but does not attempt to provide times or locations for them. Most camps don't do this, we thought the plan worked well for us.
When troops checkin in they got this sheet (it looks great in Works printed with all of the formats intact and printed on Art Handprints specialty paper from Papers Direct. The promotion really paid off and the descriptions give clues to many of the unique and innovative methods for teaching some of the classes offered in this department.
